Glasshouse experiment was set up to determine the effect of boron and calcium on yield of peanut variety SK 38. The number of peanut seed was maximized, with and without applied calcium, by the application of boron at 0.50 kg B/ha. Calcium has no effect on the number of seed. The weight of total seed, number and weight of the larger seed (not passed through the hole with 6 mm. diameter) increased with increasing rate of boron up to 2 kg B/ha in the presence of applied calcium. No responses to boron were found in the absence of calcium.
