Variability, genetic parameters and correlations among different characters of eighteen exotic vegetable soybean genotypes were studied. Wide genetic variation were observed among the genotypes for plant height, number of leaves per plant, 100 green seed and pod weight, and green pod yield. Differences between genotypic and phenotypic coefficient of variations revealed that the major portion of phenotypic variance was genetic in nature. High heritability along with high genetic gain was observed for plant height, number of leaves and pods per plant and green pod yield. Days to flowering had high heritability and moderate genetic gain but both were low in number of seeds per pod followed by number of branches per plant. Days to flowering had significant negative genotypic correlation with yield. A strong significant positive association was observed at both genotypic and phenotypic levels among plant height, number of leaves and pods per plant with yield.
