An ELISA test kit for the determination of the herbicide quinmerac in cereals was evaluated on its performance. Sensitivity, selectivity and applicability to a number of matrices was investigated. Results showed that the method can be applied for the analysis of quinmerac in wheat and rye extracts at concentrations below the established residue tolerance level.
