The objective of the paper was to determine the composition of free fatty acids in milk of dairy cows that received extruded full-fat soya. Thirteen fatty acids were determined. There were statistically significant differences (P0.05) in fatty acid percentages concerning capric acid C10:0, lauric acid C12:0, stearic acid C18:0, and linolic acid C18:2 between the period without extruded fullfat soya feeding and the period of its administration. The feeding of extruded fullfat soya increased the content of essential fatty acids as for linolic acid C18:2 and linolenic acid C18:3 and in addition, the content of arachidic acid C20:4 was determined. The content of fatty acids in milk fat ranged from 60.63 % to 63.50 % and the difference between the experimental periods was statistically significant. The indexes of fat nonsaturation and nutritive value were calculated. The indexes did not show any significant differences for the periods of observation.
