Possible correlation between inhibition of alpha-amylase in Anagasta kuehniella Zell, and growth parameters were observed. Kernel hardness of wheat was determinant of development of Sitophilus granarius L. and increased levels of non-protein nitrogen had negative effect on growth of Sitophilus granarius L. Tribolim confusum Duv. and Anagasta kuehniella Zell
