Field water use by winter wheat

The quantity of the field water use confirmed good agreement with a yield of winter wheat and was the highest in the irrigated plots. Daily water use was the smallest in the first growth stages, than go up and run into a maximum demand for water. The biggest daily water use - 3.4 mm was between flowering and the milk stage, in the phases of grain formation and grain filling
