Time course of leave area index (LAI), above ground matter formation and winter triticale yields under different crop management systems

In this paper authors tried to explain the course of above ground dry matter accumulation, LAI (DC 65), PAR interception (DC 65) in winter triticale under two dates of sowing and two dates of N treatment and these measures influence on grain yield per ha. It have been stated that early N treatment can compensate almost totally the negative effect of late sowing in accumulation of winter triticale above ground dry matter but it does not take place when there is water deficiency, which frequently happens in the region of Poznan
