The paper presents several methods intended to minimize the pesticide consumption, taking into account the integrated control systems. Thus, potato crops present several non-polluting methods, namely: - local treatments; - low-toxicity treatments and selective compounds; - establishment of index of resistance (IR) for a series of compounds that have been used for long time to control the Colorado beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata); - biological control with microbiological products (Novodor). Likewise, a series of data are presented on the effect of a localized treatment applied to seeds on the flea-beetle Chaetocnema tibialis and Aphtona euphorbiae attack in sugar beet and linseed crops, as well as chemical control by the use of the product Fernos 50WP.
