Mutants of Erwinia carotovora subsp. atroseptica 3-2 with altered export of pectate lyase and considerably lower virulence for potato were studied. Mutant cells produced pectate lyase and cellulase at the level similar to that of the parental strain, however, export of enzymes into the medium was disturbed, and they accumulated in periplasm. Protease export was normal
