Ecological standartization of SO2 and HF air pollution according to condition of Picea abies stands [Russian Federation]

Long-term monitorng the condition of forest ecosystems in the zone exposed to emissions of Novgorod scientific production formation "Azot" permits to determine maximum allowable limits of SO2 and HF air pollution on their joint action. Maximum allowable limits of the pollutant flow into a forest ecosystem amounts to 5,37 kg x ha(-1) x yr(-1) for F. The obtained results are compared with literature data. In joint influence of pollutants the limits are found to be several times more severe than in their separate action.
