Effect of seeding rate and date of growth and yield of triticale

The experiments were conducted to study the effect of four sowing dates 1st Nov., 15th. Nov. and three seeding rates 60, 80, 100 kg/ha on yield and yield components of triticale. Results indicated that the second sowing date (15th. of Oct.) gave higher yield and number of spike per plant; also indicated that the seeding rate (80 kg/ha) gave higher yield, higher number of trillers and spike per plant in both seasons.
