Response of marigold (Tagetes erecta L.) cultivars to various N and K regimes

The effect of N and K fertilizers on growth and productivity of two marigold cultivars namely; Sierra Gold and Sierra Yellow were studied. Maximum height of plants, number and size of branches, size, number and quality of flowers were obtained for extended period when higher N doses in combination with K were applied. Variety Sierra Gold excelled Sierra Yellow in all respects.
