Dynamics of nitrate nitrogen in soil under winter wheat monoculture

In 3-year field experiment under winter wheat grown in monoculture the effects of liming, straw and manure application along with mineral fertilization on dynamics of nitrates in loess soil were studied. The nitrate dynamics depended mostly on weather conditions - precipitation level and temperature. Nitrate content and distribution in the soil was also significantly affected by plant growing rhythm, while only slight effect of applied fertilization was noted
