1996
Grabowicz, M.
The quality, chemical comosition, air stability, voluntary intake, digestibility, and nutritive value of the whole crop fodder-sugar beet silages have been investigated. Whole crop beets in the cut and incut form were ensilaged in combination with different supplements: ground barley, post-extracted rapeseed meal, post-pressed rapeseed cake, dried and fresh sugar beet pulp, and wheat bran. The kind of the supplements used in the ensilaging process influenced the content of nutritive substances in silages. The influence of the use of silages prepared in different mauner on the results of lambs fattening, the slaughter value parameters and biochemical indices of lambs blood, as well as on the milk yield, milk composition and biochemical indices of the dairy cattle was also investigated
