The experiment aimed to assess the influence of beyond-root treatment with: zinc, boron, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium on apple yield quality and quantity. It was conducted on 3 year-old Jonagold, Gloster and Idared apple trees grafted on M 26. Chemical soil analysis showed sufficient content of phosphorus, magensium and zinc but low boron content. During three years Zn, B, Mg, P and Ca was given as foliar spray. To the soil mineral fertilizers were applied at doses: N - 40 kg/ha and K2O - 60 kg/ha. Beyond-root treatment did not affect significantly fruit yield increase, nor differences in mean fruit weight, colouring and refraction values measured after harvest
