Issues of winter wheat breeding, regarding higher yields and quality

Today's high yield winter wheat varieties were created as the results of long term breeding and genetics work. These varieties have 20% higher genetics potential for yield than standard variety Zitarka. Also, these new varieties have much better flour quality than standard varieties. More over, main characteristics of new variety are pointing out possibilities for rational wheat production.
