The Integrated Pest Management with Macrolophus caliginosus, predator of Trialeurodes vaporariorum, asks a question of unitary cost and of delay of response after introduction of beneficial insects inside the greenhouse. To solve this problem, some tobacco plants were introduced in a protected tomato crop, at the time of plucking out the plants, to collect a lot of M. caliginosus present on old tomato plants. The beneficial are fed during some weeks with eggs of Ephestia kuehniella, then tobacco plants have been introduced in the greenhouse at the time of plantation of the next young tomato crop. M. caliginosus spread themselves on Tomato from the Tobacco, thus protecting the crop during all the season. No spray against whitefly has been made during the same time. This technique allowed to reduce the cost price of this biological control organism, in comparison with the commercial technique of release of it, which would be included between 1 FF to 2 FF per ml. In the present case, it had been under 0.30 FF per square metre with a better efficiency. It is possible to speak, in this case, of Sustainable Integrated Pest Management
