An experiment was conducted to study the effect of recommended auxins and their concentrations on root formation in peach rootstocks. Shoots of rootstock clones Barier, Pozar, GF 677 and Kando coming from multiplication culture were rooted in medium Qcontaining 50% concentrations of inorganic salts (Q1/2), and saccharose content was reduced to 20 g/l. These variants were used: 0.5 and 1.0 mg/l NAA, 1.0 mg/l IBA, 5.0 mg/l IAA + 13 mg/l floroglucinol, 5.0 mg/l IBA + 1.0 g/l active charcoal and 5.0 mg/l IAA + 200 mg/l ornithine. Shoots 10 to 20 mm in length were exposed to cold before rooting. The best root formation was observed at a concentration of 1.0 mg/l NAA, the lower concentration of 0.5 mg/l NAA was more efficient in Kando clone only.
