The monography contains results of investigations of the occurrence and efficiency of Rhizobium meliloti, Rhizobium leguminosarum biov. trifolii, Rhizobium leguminosarum var. viceae (field bean) and Rhizobium galegae. Resistance and adaption to the soil ecological conditions such as acid reaction, units of mineral nitrogen of different strains of Rhizobium were ascertained. In experiments was estimated symbiotic compatibility of different Rhizobium strains with various legume species. The efficiency of major inoculum on legumes and evaluated the effect of inoculation in combination with trace nutrients such as boron, molybdenum and with vitamine thiamine was studied. The impact of soil liming on biological nitrogen fixation was also investigated, as well as the significance of biological and mineral nitrogen to legume and cereal crops.
