In the given paper the education programm in building reconstruction speciality for the students of LUA Rural Building Construction Department is presented and discussed. Specialists in the reconstruction of buildings, farm buildings in particular, are necessary as many rural buildings in Latvia have become unusable and need reconstruction. Thus, the program and the experience accumulated at the Building Construction Department are of great value.
