The objective was to determine the efficacy of Ivermectin Pour-On formulation against the horn fly (Haematobia irritans) is naturally infested cattle at the dose of 1 ml/10 kg of body weight. The percent efficacy based on geometric means of Ivermectin Pour-On against H. irritans was 99.9% (Day 3), 97.4% (Day 7), 94.7% (Day 14), 81.7% (Day 21), 72.9% (Day 28), and 74.4% (Day 35). The number of flies in the treated group ranged from 0.27 on Day 3 to 69.4 on Day 35, while the control group ranged from 296 on Day 3 to 261 on Day 35. The overall efficacy during the 35 days was 86.3%, and therefore this product is considered efficacious for the control of H. irritans in cattle. There were no adverse reactions during the study
