Technological value of spring and winter triticale cultivars in depending on environmental conditions

The investigations were carried out on the grain of 5 spring (Gabo, Jago, Maja, Migo, MAH 990) and 9 winter (Almo, Moniko, Bolero, Ugo, Presto, Malno, Tewo, Moreno, Vero) triticale cultivars, coming from differentiated soil-climatic conditions, harvested in 1991-93 years. Physical and milling properties of grain, chemical composition and flour as well as baking properties of triticale flour were examined. Technological properties of spring and winter triticale are well qualified by grain hardeness and vitreosity, hectoliter weight as well as total protein, high molecular glutenin, sedimentation value and falling number
