Identification of powdery mildew resistance genes in common wheat (Triticum aestivum L. em. Thell.). Pt. 10. Cultivars grown in Belarus and neighbouring countries

Sixty-six wheat cultivars grown in Belarus, Poland, Russia and Ukraine were tested for mildew response to a collection of 11 different isolates of Erysiphe graminis DC f. sp. tritici Marchal. 19 cultivars have shown a susceptible reaction and 18 were characterized by the susceptible or intermediate responses. 14 cultivars revealed isolate-specific response patterns that could be attributed to major known resistance genes or gene combinations. 12 cultivars have one documented gene. 1 cultivar has two genes. 15 cultivars were characterized by response patterns not documented and 1 cultivar was resistant to all the used isolates
