The aim of this work was to investigate three fertilization levels and three methods of soil cultivation on winter wheat yield structure (phytomass yield amount and winter wheat grain yield) over the years 1994-1995. Statistically non-significant differences were observed in fertilization variants and methods of soil cultivation, in the number of spikes per area unit, number of grains per spike and significant differences in one thousand grains weight. Evaluated technology measures (fertilization and the method of soil cultivation) had the best influence on the number of spikes per area unit (increase up to 26.6%) and the optimal fertilization variant was the harvest remains tillage method, with mineral fertilizers applied in interaction with combined chisel cultivator soil cultivation. The maximum phytomass amount and grain yield was achieved by the method of fertilization of harvest remains tillage with mineral fertilizers in interaction with depth tillage up to 0.2 m and with surface soil cultivation with the phytomass increase up to 13.2% and that of grain yield up to 29%.
