Mineral nutrition of woody plants in dependence on various environmental factors

The work considers concentration changes of biogenic elements in assimilative organs of woody plants and in soil during the growth period as dependent on various environmental factors. Concentration of biogenic elements was studied on samples of assimilative organs and soils from permanent research plots from stands of chestnut, oak, pine and lime. Mean values of the content of biogenic elements in assimilative organs in the individual woody species, sampling times and stand types are given in Table 1. Results confirm the influence of nutrient content in soil, soil reaction, climatic conditions and interfering influences on the concentration changes of Ca, Mg and K
