Resistance of cultivars and hybrids of currants to the economically important harmful factors in natural infection conditions

The resistance of 119 sorts of currants (black, red and white) to the black currant gall mite Eriophyes ribis Westw., and to fungal diseases caused by Sphaerotheca mors-uvae Schwein, Drepanopeziza ribis Kleb.Hoehn, Septoria ribis Desm., and Cronartium ribicola J.C. Fischer was tested from 1990 to 1993 under natural infection conditions. The highest levels of the complex resistance were recorded in hybrid LS 61/21 and cvs. Giant Missouri, Rus, Titania, Oejebyn, Karelskaja, Minaj Smirev, and Blestjascaja
