The results of microexperiments of sugar beet with "Humikal" foliar fertilizer performed in the production region of the Sugar Factory in Senta [Serbia, Yugoslavia] in 1996

On the basis of the results of the microexperiments performed in the period of one year on sugar beet, by applying various doses of "Humikal" foliar fertilizer in the production region of the Senta Sugar Factory (Serbia, Yugoslavia), the following was established: Variant four, i.e. the variant with 3 l/ha of "Humikal" gave the highest yield of root and the highest sugar content in beet. The highest yield of crystalline sugar was also obtained in the case of variant four, i.e. where 3 l/ha of "Humikal" were used. It was on average 7.690 t/ha. The positive difference in the achieved yield of crystalline sugar between the fertilization variant four and the control was 0.710 t/ha or 9.23.
