The differences in the accumulation of radioactive products of division in the yielding of agricultural crops are directly dependent on the properties of the soil, the biological characteristics of the plants and another environmental conditions. On the basis of the accomplished researches and the received results it was found out that: 1. The radiocesium is unevenly distributed in the different organs of the plants. The highest accumulation is in the vegetation organs and the lowest - in the grains. 2. There are differences in the acceptance of the radioisotope from the different sorts of plants and they are more strongly expressed in those grown on maroon soils. 3. The highest degree of accumulation of radiocesium has been detected in the sort VV-17, and lowest in the sort VV-16. 4. Depending on the properties of the soils the accumulation of Cs-134 in different sorts of oats is not equal. The plants grown on maroon soil extract more intensively the radiocesium in comparison with those grown on leached black earth.
