1998
Shlyakhov, E. | Segev, S. | Rubinstein, E. (Universite de Tel-Aviv (Israel). Unite des maladies infectieuses) | Blancou, J.
The authors detail the different stages in the research conducted, from Louis Pasteur to the present, on the immunological reactions of animals and humans to Bacillus anthracis infection. After listing the principal discoveries in the field (vaccines from Pasteur, Sterne and their successors, the role of phagocytosis and of aggressines, toxicogenic complex, anthraxin, gene analysis, etc.) they present an overview of the practical results obtained, the paradoxes that have become apparent and the problem that remains to be solved.
