Rhizina undulata Fr. as the cause of root rot in conifers

In last years a number of forest fires occurred in Estonia. This entails an increasing danger for damage by fungus Rhizina undulata to young coniferous plantations on the burned areas. To avoid or restrict possible losts in future some aspects of biology, ecology and pathogenicity of the fungus are discussed in this review
