As a result of permanent using cereal monoculture the yield and its quality will decrease, the number of some weeds, plant diseases and insect pests in the field will increase. In the field trial with longtime rotation the transformations in content of soil nutrients and humus were investigated. Comparative research about occurrence of plant disease, about formation of yield and its quality at monocultural and crop rotation system was carried out. Barley's monocultural negative influence was diminished by using rye or oats for one year in crop rotation. The same effect was obtained in case of regular fertilisation with farmyard manure and with increased dosage of N fertilizer. More intensive chemical plant protection such as seed dressing by chemical agents, chemical weeds and diseases control are also needed. The cultivation of leguminous for one year in crop rotation will lead to positive after-effect in the tield of following cereal crops during two years
