The present paper deals with an effect of different fertilizers on the crude protein of field grass in 1994...1995. The trials were established in 1994 on the experimental field at Eerika. In the spring the following rates of fertilizers were applied to the field: N50, K60, B1, Co1, Mo1, Cu3,5, Zn3 and Se0,004. After the first yield harvesting an additional amount of N 50 kg ha sup(-1) were applied. In April 1995 N60P60K60 were applied as repeated fertilizers. The purpose was to research an influence of micro- and macrofertilizers on the crude protein content of field grass. Two species of field grasses were used in the mixtures: red clover 'Jogeva 205' and timothy 'Tia'. The results on the two years indicated that the crude protein content depended from the part of red clover in the yield of field grass. The effect of nitrogen fertilizers on the content of crude protein in the yield of field grass depended on the part of red clover in the sward. The nitrogen fertilizer increased the crude protein content in the yield of field grass on the sward poor in red clover
