On the basis of the research done during the years of 1990...1997 the following conclusions can be drawn: The partial effect of mineral fertilizers, chemical weed control and ploughing depth on the yield was as an average of years respectively - 54,9; 11,2 and 4,7 per cent of the total yield. The moderate rates of mineral fertilizers should be used, considering the reduction of the environment pollution, nonrenewable energy used by agriculture and miserable socioeconomic situation of agricultural producers. The regular use of herbicides at the present weediness of fields and quality of manure is necessary and effecient even if the complex system of weed control is used. The use of herbicides should definitely be reduced in parallel to the reducing of weediness, improving the competition ability of the crops and the quality of manure and compost. The preventive and mechanic, weed control methods should also be put into practice by the agricultural producers. Deep ploughing every year for cereals and grases is not justified neither agronomically nor economically
