1998

An experiment was carried out at the end of crop rotation in six-year old organic manure field trial that lasted for 8 yr. Dry matter yield of forage grass mixture composed from Trifolium pratense L. and Festuca pratensis L. undersown to spring barley 500 sprout per m (2) was successively investigated. The experiment was established on well cultivated Stagnic Podzoluvisols and Oxiaquic Argiboroll, at four fertilization levels. The fertilization backgrounds were: 0-unfertilized, OV-organically manured, NPK-minerally fertilized according to crops demands and OV+NPK i.e. combination of mineral and organic fertilization. The last addition of manure in crop rotation was made in August, 1988. Nurse crop barley was minerally fertilized N50P22K42, but no mineral fertilizers were applied to the subsequent forage grass mixture in 1992. Plant analyses were made: total-N by Kjeldhal; K by flame emission photometry, P by the vanadomolybdate colometry, Ca and Mg in complex by triloon-B. The soil macronutrient contents were analysed: total-N by Kjeldhal, total-C by Tjurin, soluble P, K, Ca, Mg by DL-method
