Introduction of domestic science speciality in Estonian University of Agriculture

The publication presents the history of the origin and development of the domestic science speciality as weel as its perspectives. The subjects offered at the Estonian University of Agriculture for acquiring the speciality are pointed out. The theoretical studies and the practical work in the speciality are described. The possibilities for acquiring the Bachelor of Science degree are explained and the possible dissertation themes are presented. The current trends concerning Domestic Science in Estonia are shown.
