The application of three levels of zinc sulfate highly influenced the yield of straw mushroom. Result of the study showed that the highest rate of zinc sulfate (1.5 g/l of water) gave higher yield (223.33 g), gave the shortest days to harvest (11.66 days), produced more buttons (14.66); greater zone of growth on PSA plates (34 mm) and on spawn substrates (126 mm), and highest net return of P2.51/bed. The result was highly comparable to the standard check (urea + sugar). On the other hand, the untreated control produced low yield (161.66 g), longer days to harvest (20 days) lesser number of buttons (9.66) and slow mycelial growth and development of PSA plates and on spawn substrates
