Mathematical Model of Sheikh Zuaid Area in Arab Republic of Egypt

Within the context of cooperation between ACSAD and DRI in Egypt, an agreement was signed in view to prepare a mathematical model for the region of Sheikh Zuaied in Egypt which have scarce water resources and over exploitation of the groundwater. The study was executed in two phases: The first phase included collection, documentation, evaluation and completion of the available data, while the second phase included the mathematical model preparation and calibration. The results were evaluated and and important recommendations were presented.
