[Evolution of the biological state of the eroded soils an prognosis of its restoration]

Marinescu, Calina (Institutul de Cercetari Stiintifice pentru Pedologie si Problemele Apelor "N Dimo", Chisinau (Republic of Moldova))
Biomass, biological diversity, respiration, cellulose decomposition and nitrification capacity were studied. The losses of the species abundance of biota, biomass of micro-organisms, biomass of mezofauna and decrease of biochemical activity (more than 50 per cent) in the eroded soils in comparison with zonal soils were established. The prognosis of the restoration of biota structure and function were developed.
