Communities of free living and parasitic nematodes in Kosice region of Slovenske rudohorie [Slovak Republic]

A full evaluation is presented of the communities of free-living and parasitic nematodes in three forest nurseries of Urban Forests Kosice. Eighty two nematode species, members of various trophic groups were found in the rhisosphere of the seedlings. The omniphages (40 %) were dominant, followed by phytophages (22 %) and predators (22 %), bacteriophages (9 %) and mycophages (7 %). Parasitic nematodes were represented by 16 species, ectoparasites by 14 species and endoparasites by 2 species
