Six peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) cultivars representing Virginia, Spanish and Valencia subspecies var. hypogaea, var. vulgaris and var. fastigiata, respectively, were experimented in 1993 and 1994 on the experiment field of Akdeniz University, Agriculture Faculty, Field Crops Department in Antalya to determine seasonal dry matter accumulation and dry matter partitioning, leaf area index (LAI) development, reproductive efficiency estimated by harvest index (HI), nodule production and some pod and seed characters
