[Unconventional animal production in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia: the state and possible dynamics in the development]

The authors summed up the most significant comparative benefits of varios kinds of unconventional animal production (aquaculture, apiculture, wildculture, mink culture, silkculture) over classical aspects of cattle production where the reproduction capacity is particularly stressed regarding numerous kinds of unconventional animal production and the possibility of application of the industrial way of the usage of given animal kind. In tabular displays no. 1,2,3,4 and 5, nominal indicators are given of the states of more important groups of unconventional animal production in Yugoslavia and by carthographic display no. 1 the possible range suitable for the upbringing of mouflon game in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Besides, the need for the program development of basic branches of unconventional animal production till 2005 is particularly stressed out as well as the need for the foundation of national institute for unconventional animal production and international center for permanent education of veterinarian cadres of all the profiles particularly out of the field of defined aspects of unconventional animal production.
