The accuracy of interlaboratory determinations of crude protein content in sunflower meal

The interlaboratory test has been performed in laboratories of 4 oil factories, 2 feed plants and 2 institutes. Thirty four samples of sunflower meal were simultaneously analysed in eight laboratories in order to determine the variations of results on crude protein content in different laboratories. There were three groups of samples with different expected crude protein levels. Statistical parameters that were determined, (standard deviation, coefficient of variation) showed significant deviations among the results obtained in this interlaboratory test.
