Effect of the mineral fertilization of Agropyron cristatum (L.) Gaertn.) in foothill regions of Central Northern Bulgaria

During the period 1993-1995 was carried out an experiment with Agropyron cristatum (sort Parkway) in Troyan region of Central Northern Bulgaria, and were tested increasing of nitrogen fertilization rates (from 6 to 18 kg/da) by two backgrounds (P6K6 and P12K12). It was determined, that with the increasing nitrogen fertilizers increases the dry matter yields. By fertilization with N18 on backgrounnd P12K12 the yields were more with to 92.5% in comparison with the unfertilization standart. The independently fertilization with phosphorous and potassium fertilizers increases the yields too, but in less extent (independently from your rates). By the all nitrogen fertilization rates (with or without PK-background) Agropyron cristatum predominates in the grass stand.
