Forest melioration and intensive wood cutting lead to income of humic substances and metals Al and Fe in that number into waterbodies in great quantitative volumes. The investigation of Al (AlCl36H2o) and Fe (FeCl37H2O) influence in water with different color (0.6o, 15o, 90o) and pH indexes (6.0, 5.0, 4.0) on water organisms was conducted in laboratory conditions. The exposition was 48 h. Daphnia magna, Ecdynurus joernensis, Hydropsyche contubernalis were taken as test-objects. It was shown that Al and fe ions had negative influence on water organisms in the concentrations exceed natural background. The influence is more intensive in light water. Toxic metal effect decreased in water with 90o color index. Nevertheless increase of water acidification due to humic substances, Al and Fe salts hydrolysis and low mineralization characteristic to northern regions, increase the negative effect coming from forest melioration and wood cutting
