Data of microfield researches on the influence of soil contamination with chromium on its accumulation in roots, leaves and stems of corn, soil acidity influence on these processes are given. It is established that Cr uptake by roots, leaves and stems of corn, growing on soils with various pH value (4.20, 5.30, 6.30) depends not only from its concentration in a soil, but also from medium reaction: accumulation of this element in separate corn organs grows with the soil acidity increasing. However was noticed that Cr distribution in crops has stable character, which does not depend on soil properties and concentration of this element in it, - maximum quantity of element-contaminant is always contained in roots, minimum - in vegetative and reproductive organs. On ability to Cr accumulation the organs of studied crop can be ranked in the following descending order: roots leaves stems
