[Impervious curtains produced in the in-site clay soils]

Investigations of imperviousness characteristics of the lean sandy loam and loamy soils under conditions of long-term water and livestock-production sewage filtration has showed that reliable impervious curtains (filtration coefficient of 10-4-10-6) can be produced in such soils with certain original values of their compactness and moisture. The relations for determination of design values of this characteristics are suggested
