A data of identification thepowdery mildew resistance genes in some common wheat cultivars is presented. To characterize powdery mildew resistance of some common wheat cultivars and to determine the chromosomal location of the genes, monosomic analysis was carried out using the set of Chinese Spring monosomic lines. The obtained results revealed that one major dominant gene is located on the 1D chromosome in cv. Virest, this new gene was designated as PM22. Introgressive wheat line 146-155-T, derivative of Triticum timopheevii, has dominant gene Pm27, located on the 6B chromosome. Cultivar Meri has resistance gene located on the 1B chromosome, designated by symbol Pm28. The importance and prospects of resistance genes location on wheat chromosomes using monosomic genetical analysis are considered
