For urine allantoin content determination the cleannes of collection vessels, maintainance of proper pH and precise dilution of the samples are essential. Diluted samples may be stored in a refrigerator for up to 4 days at +6 deg C. For determination the allantoin content of urine samples of the ruminants it is proper to store the samples in a freezer at -20 deg C
