A study was conducted to determine the common helminth parasites in La Union [Philippines]. It also aimed to determine the effects of environment, host and management on the parasitic load, weight and blood parameters. It further aimed to determine the correlation between parasitic load, weight and blood parameters. There were two experimental stations. The first station was the DMMMSU Goat Research Project which had 55 native goats. The second station were two adjacent farms situated at Ortega, Balaoan, La Union. The first farm had 29 heads of mixed breeds while the second farm had 17 native heads. In both stations, fecal samples were examined using the McMaster and Stoll's techniques. The feces of the experimental animals for each research station were pooled for the larval culture. To confirm the results of the fecalysis and the larval culture necropsy of four heads in each station was done. The pasture area was analyzed for parasitic infection and load. Blood analyses were done. The environmental conditions were taken at the Agro-meteorological station of DMMMSU. Results revealed that Fasciola, Paramphistomum, Eurytrema, Strongyle, Strongyloides, Trichuris and Monieza were the common helminth parasites of goats in La Union. The larval analysis and necropsy confirmed the results of the fecalysis. The hemoglobin, red blood cell, packed cell volume and eosinophil counts were within the normal range. The hemoglobin and the red blood cell, packed cell volume and eosinophil count increased with an increasing parasitic load. The correlation values of the parasitic load versus the weight, hemoglobin count, packed cell volume, red blood cell and eosinophil count were (-0.02, 0.012,-0.075, and 0.02), respectively. The moisture content of the environment had the greatest effect on the parasitic load of goats
