Changes in property and acreage structure in agriculture of Wielkopolska region within 1988-96 were analysed. Mutual relations among state-owned, collective and private sectors primarily determined the changes in property structure to advantage of the last one. The number of private farms decreased at increasing their average size. Land concentration followed especially in group of farms above 10 ha. The average acreage of private farms in region rose from 8.5 to 10.2 ha
